Jamie Metcalfe - GCSE

Jamie joined the GCSE Department in September 2009 from Forest School to take 8 GCSEs and AS Maths. Jamie is expected to achieve top grades in his examinations this Summer. Whilst highly academic, Jamie is also a talented violinist, achieving Grade 8 this year. A popular, all-round student, Jamie is returning to Lansdowne for his A Levels, having been awarded a VI Form Scholarship. Jamie was also GCSE Student of the Year 2010.



 

Lizy Marshall - AS

Lizy joined the GCSE Department in March 2008 having been home-tutored whilst pursuing her ambition to be a dancer. By the Summer of 2009, Lizy had achieved top grades in four GCSEs... all in three months! In the academic year 2008/09, Lizy banked a further six GCSEs. In the Lower Sixth this year, Lizy has continued her academic success, with A Levels in History, Biology, Film Studies and English Literature. Lizy is a great asset to the College.


 

Beryl Foster - A1

Beryl joined Lansdowne in September 2008 on a one-year A Level course in Chemistry and Biology to add to her AS Physics taken at her previous school. She achieved top grades in both subjects and has since stayed on at Lansdowne to complete one further A Level in Psychology. Beryl has achieved her ambition of a place to read Veterinary Science at Bristol University.
