All of our tutors want to pass on the passion they feel for their subjects and ignite in students of all abilities the joy of learning as an end in itself.

Within small classes, learning quickly becomes a two-way process in which students acquire confidence and knowledge from tutors who themselves get to know students as individuals. Lansdowne’s students feel that they are working with their tutors rather than for them.

Because many of our tutors are themselves examiners, the knowledge students receive is twofold – while mastering the content of their subjects, they also learn its tactical application in coursework and examinations so as to achieve the best possible grade.
