Lansdowne has a dedicated Higher Education and Careers Advisor who is available to provide guidance on a one-off basis or for a long term programme of interviews where potential careers are explored and students are guided towards the qualifications and training best suited to their needs. 
 
All GCSE students have a compulsory series of interviews with the Careers Advisor.

The Careers Advisor can offer psychometric testing to guide students towards careers which suit their interests and skills, provide literature on specific careers and web-links to professional bodies, and organise work experience with relevant employers.

Over the past couple of years students have gained work experience at the BBC, in varied departments of London hospitals, at national magazines and in leading financial institutions in the City.
